WRONG REALITY Part VII REALISATION
DECIDING THE CONSTITUTION

Definition of Human Being - 42f REFORM

Reform

Various attempts have been made to solve the world's problems by bringing human interests to the fore and having the people benefited rather than exploited by the Machine.

Lenin

Lenin sought to bring the ideals of Karl Marx to Russia. The Communist plan, to have the people serve the State and the State serve the people, seemed good, but the plan embodied a fatal flaw. Strong leaders were needed to shepherd a backward people in directions they needed, but did not want, to follow. Eventually a leader arose who became corrupted by power, Stalin. After he died, dictatorial Communism gradually lost its grip, and eventually the system was suddenly replaced by that other amoral practice, money-economics.

Gandhi

Another leader arose, surely the most humanly aware of all - Mahatma Gandhi. The influence of his simple, peacable example was felt worldwide, but he did not oppose the money economy so much as the way it worked. In the absence of any equal to follow him, his influence was largely lost as the Machine re-asserted itself.

When we speak we use the language of this present reality, because the Machine largely dictates our thinking. Up to a point we already know that we should behave humantruly, but we also believe that it is impossible to do so, given the present demands, pressures and false values of the Machine which we believe to be inescapable. A change of thinking is required.

Presently we view the human race as unreliable, at times benign and peacable but capable of going to opposite extremes of violent aggression and cruelty so that people must be grouped, governed and controlled by law and its enforcement. The opposite is the case.

We are fully capable of benign and peacable reliability if we submit to the guidance of our postconscious minds, and then only if we insist upon a humantrue social structure which utterly supports, enables and sustains such a fully supraconscious society.
